WHAT'S BEEN?

SEMESTER 1 - 2008
Week 13

Genderfuck party

Week 7

Thursday 17th April
- Queer Movie Night. Help us raise funds for QSN (a few dollars for entry) and come along to watch queer movies for a night. Usually in building 20 (Communications building) somewhere. Exact times to come, but usually kicks off in the early evening.

Friday 18th April
Next Stop Vladivostok
It's 1981 and Cameron Sharp has run away from the family sheep farm to 'do Europe'.

Join him and Therese Doyle for a night of musical hysteria as they retrace his fanciful yet faltering steps.

From an international stage debut with Muslim drag queens in Singapore to being arrested at gunpoint on the fog-shrouded Soviet border; Cameron and Therese will broaden your horizons and widen your smiles as you are flown, bussed, ferried and cattle-trucked through a collision of cultures, cuisine and queerness.

8pm at Scarborough - Wombarra Bowling Club. $20 entry, $15 concession. Bookings advised. Email csharpservices@yahoo.no or phone/SMS 0404 306331

This event is not run by Allsorts.

Saturday 12th April
- "Naked Party". Promises to be a fun night but for completely different reasons to what you are thinking. Bring along any clothes you no longer wear for whatever reason and swap with others who have brought along their clothes. Anything that nobody claims we will take to an op shop. 7:30 at Bec's house (email us for details. Contacts are below)
- Castro's afterwards to late!

Sunday 13th April
- Zine Fair outside Wollongong Library. A day of zines, patches, baked goods, hand made stuff and general slightly alternative merriment.
