Meetings are held in our temporary Queer Space in Building 114, across the road from the main campus while our usual space is renovated - on Thursdays from 12:30 'til 1.30 p.m. whilst classes are running. Our first meeting will be on the Thursday of O-Week, on the 25th of February. If you can't make that, perhaps you can join us for coffee at Panizzi before the meeting (11:30) or after (from 1:30 'til people need to be places).

Also, we tend to start each semester by dubbing Thursday night "Beers for Queers", and claiming a table at a local pub/dance-floor-space at a local club. However, usually by mid-semester, we all have essays coming out of places we didn't know we had, so we'll see how we go. Come to a meeting/check Facebook/join the mailing list/text the Queer Convenors to find out more conclusive info.

OH! week is on from the 23rd til the 26th of February, so, to make sure you can find us, we will have a table (possibly some chairs, some information, and some people to talk to, too) on the Duckpond Lawn every day from 10:00 'til 2:00. Aren't you lucky? Come talk to us, do!

Saturday Feb 28th
is the Mardi Gras Parade. As usual, members of Allsorts will be priding it up by marching in the Cross Campus Float. If you want to be a part of this, let us know and we'll give you the details.

If being in the parade itself is a bit daunting, a group will be going up to watch the festivities from the sidelines, with at least one seasoned parade-goer to make sure you don't get lost/glittered if you don't want to be. We'll all catch the train up together, find a spot, then meet up with the parade kids afterwards. Again, let us know and we'll fill you in.

Before all that, though, is Fair Day. Fair Day is a family-friendly-esque, Mardi Gras-related day of joy and wonder. 2010 Fair Day is on the 21st Feb in Victoria Park in Sydney from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We'll be taking a merry delegation.
